Salem's stained glass artists consistently create original art that sets us apart from ordinary stained glass studios. And we work regularly with acknowledged stained glass design masters on our projects -- and theirs. Whether traditional or contemporary images, we can tell the story and create the mood you want. You never have to settle for mere "catalog" images at Salem Stained Glass. Even with our standard windows, which are designed by the same in-house artists who do our custom windows.
Quality
Our clients tell us that no one else around does fine detail like Salem Stained Glass. Our colors are pure -- fired in our own kilns. Our lines are straighter and our solder joints less visible. Our finishing is more complete. Installation
Whether locally or nationally, Salem Stained Glass has received only compliments on the quality of its installation work and attention to detail. We are prepared to tackle the simplest or most complex stained glass window installations (or removals), working with your building contractors or our proven contracting partners. Restoration
It's easy to claim restoration expertise, but far more difficult to accumulate more than 50 years' worth of experience. That's how long our two principals, Brad Brown and Al Priest (together) have been working in stained glass. There is hardly a circumstance we have not seen, from the normal weathering and deterioration of stained glass to the outright neglect of -- or damage to -- extraordinarily valuable windows. Price
Our standard
windows are beautifully designed and finely made. They cost a little less
because creative costs have been amortized by our customer base over the years.
Our custom windows are priced slightly higher than those of our regional competitors,
a small premium that our clients have been willing to pay for Salem Stained
Glass quality, consistency, satisfaction and exclusive design rights. Some
clients choose to defer exclusive rights to their design in exchange for a
lower price. Other pricing factors include the type of glass, window size
and installation complexity.
Our restoration work is priced in step with the intricacy of each project,
which balances our costs, experience and profit with our clients' need for
value.
