Salem Stained Glass and internationally
acclaimed cold glass artist Jon Kuhn have created a radiant new look for
stained glass windows. When set into translucent glass panels, Kuhn’s
strikingly beautiful work adds dimension and color to flat glass, combining
the qualities of light refracting through thousands of minute, optical grade
glass crystals with the warm glow of traditional stained glass. The effect
is both radiant and refreshing. Some call the combination of Kuhn’s
art and stained glass deeply spiritual -- in a way that words are inadequate
to describe.
The marriage of Kuhn's work and Salem Stained Glass windows began when a
church asked the artist to create a stained glass depiction of the Lamb of
God. Rather than disappoint, Kuhn reached out to Al Priest at Salem Stained
Glass. This set in motion the work now known as Kuhn Sacred Glass.

"There's something mysterious and soothing about stained glass, the way it captures ordinary daylight and creates something wonderful. It is light filled with new life, light that has been both softened and energized, as if touched by the very hand of God." |
